HOW TO REQUEST BED FOR COVID-19 in BANGALORE?
Updated on 23 April 2021100% Beds in Government Hospitals treating COVID 19 & 50% Beds in all Private Hospitals of Bangalore treating COVID 19 which are empaneled with Suvarna Arogya Suraksha Trust (SAST) are open for admission under the BBMP Quota.
How to Block a BED under BBMP Quota in a Govt / Private Hospital in Bangalore ?
Step 1 : Check the Latest Status on Availability of beds under BBMP Quota
Step 2 : Keep SRF ID & BU Number ready
SRF ID is given to every person who takes up RAT Test or RTPCR Test. The SRF ID comes to the registered mobile no. of the person after sample is collected and is also printed in the Test Report.
BU number is a unique number generated by BBMP. Its generated only for patients who test positive for COVID19. The Govt / private lab must upload the details of the test in ICMR portal and only then BU number is generated.
Generally BU number comes as an SMS. However, if you do not get BU number by SMS, click on this link to get your BU number
Step 3 : If you do not have BU Number and urgently need a bed, Call 1912 or 108
You may have to wait long, but hang on ! There is a huge rush. Thousands of patients are looking for beds. In the meanwhile make sure you get your SRF ID & BU number.
Step 4 : If you have SRF ID & BU Number Ready & Call BBMP War Room
